The Breeding Cows of R bar J
This is "Cait". She has calved some great looking calfs
including our crossbred bucking Bull "Spitfire".
Her calves tend to have the darker color in the shoulders
and face true to the Brahma coloring. Her disposition is
really calm and friendly unless you make her do something she doesn't want to do. Also protective of her calves.
Our cow "Zoey" throws calfs of a lighter color. A good example is
shown by "Buckey", her first calf here at R bar J. Her disposition is also very calm and gentle, not as much "Cait", but close.
This "Molly" our cow with color. She is the only breeding cow we have
that is brown and white. She has thrown a calf here that is damn near
a
clone of her. She is due any day for her second calf here at the farm.
Her disposition is very timid and shy unless you have the apple treats
we feed sometimes.
This
white ghost "Buckey" is the offspring from "Zoey". She is very light in
color, not the usual grey. Her disposition is calm unless you get near
her calf. A protective mother. Otherwise friendly and calm.
